Nebula AI Case Explorer™ | Reviewing Your Results: The Case Overview Dashboard
The Case Overview is your home screen once an analysis completes. It's designed to give you a fast, at-a-glance read on the matter before you go deeper.
What's on the dashboard
A Contents rail on the left jumps you to each section:
- Corpus Statistics — total documents, key docs flagged by AI, and a document relevancy distribution across the whole dataset.
- Executive Summary — an AI-generated narrative summary of the case.
- Key Storylines — the identified storylines, with event and document counts for each.
- Timeline Highlights — the case's key events.
- Key People — a snapshot of the central individuals, with their relevance.
- Theme Distribution — how documents break down across your key themes.
While analysis is running or if it fails
You may land on the Case Overview before an analysis is fully finished. A banner at the top tells you what is happening. See Processing Status and Exceptions.
Exporting and sharing
You can access these options from the top-right 3-dot menu from the Case Overview screen.
- Export to PDF produces a shareable copy of the overview.
- View as Memo renders the same content as a formal case summary memorandum (marked "Privileged & Confidential — Attorney Work Product"), with prepared date, corpus size, period, custodians, and storyline counts — useful for sharing outside the tool.
- Copy All Text and a choice of Narrative or Plain Text format are available from the memo actions menu, if you just need the text.
What to check first
When an analysis finishes, it's worth spending a few minutes on the Case Overview before moving into detailed review:
- Does the Executive Summary reflect the case accurately, based on the case summary you submitted?
- Do the key themes in Theme Distribution match what you expected?
- Are the key people who you'd expect to see? See Key Themes, Key People, and Key Events for more on how these are generated.
If something looks off, it's usually a sign the case summary needs more detail in a specific area — see Writing a Strong Case Summary.
