Nebula AI Case Explorer™ | Project List and Version History

Project List

The Project List shows every Nebula AI Case Explorer™ project in your repository, with:

  • Name, and document, key people, key event, and key theme counts
  • Status: Draft, Active, Processing, or Failed
  • Created and updated dates

From a project's three-dot menu you can edit its name, view its Project History, view its ingestion Status Report, or display its results to Nebula — see Getting AI Case Explorer Results into Nebula. Renaming is disabled while a project is in Processing status — wait for it to finish first.

A project in Draft status means the onboarding wizard was started but not finished — click it to continue where you left off.

Version History

Every AI analysis run creates a new version. Nothing is overwritten — you're always looking at one version in a full timeline, with the current one marked Active and everything else under Previous.

For each version, you can see:

  • Highlights — what changed at a glance
  • Details — version number, last update, date started, and totals for documents, key themes, key documents, key events, and key people
  • The case summary as it stood at that version, which you can copy or expand

Comparing versions. Select a version to compare it against another and see the differences side by side — useful after an AI Relevancy revision, to see exactly what the AI proposed and what you accepted.

Restoring a version. Restoring is designed to work without rewriting history — it will create a new version at the top of the timeline based on the one you restored, while your current version stays preserved right where it is. This action is still being finished during the pilot, so if you need to go back to a previous version and don't see a working restore option yet, contact your KLDiscovery team rather than assuming it's failed on your end. Viewing, downloading, and comparing past versions is available now.
