Release Notes - Nebula AI Case Explorer 1.8.0

Basic & Agentic AI Chats

New and improved

  • You can copy a chat while a document review is running in chat or a document approval is pending in chat. The unfinished last question is left out of the copy.
  • Tables in chat answers are easier to read. Columns keep a minimum width and wide tables scroll sideways.
  • You can rate responses in the basic AI Chat with a thumbs up or down, the same way as in Agentic Chat.

Fixes

  • Asking for documents with a key person returns every document linked to that person.
  • Searching for documents by key person only matches people tagged as key people, not every person found in the case.
  • Questions about who a key person is connected to are answered consistently.
  • A copied chat shows its questions and answers in the same order as the original.
  • If a chat answer is still running in another session, Agentic Chat tells you so, keeps the text entry locked and unlocks it when the answer finishes.
  • If you switch away from a chat while its answer is still coming in, a question you type in another chat no longer follows you back, and you can't send a new question until the answer finishes.
  • Columns added by a document review scroll sideways, show their full title on hover and stay visible while the document list reloads after you sort or filter.
  • The dialogue for saving a document list from Agentic Chat matches the design of the rest of the app.

AI Case Explorer Application

New and improved

  • Case Explorer uses new fonts.
  • The Onboarding Wizard asks you to confirm before deleting a theme.
  • You can't continue to Data Sources until at least one theme is added and active.

Fixes

  • Users who aren't administrators no longer see draft projects in the project list or open them from a link.
  • Adding a theme yourself no longer increases the number of themes shown as generated by AI.
  • If a collection you picked was deleted in Nebula, Data Sources shows it as unknown with a warning instead of dropping it.
  • Data Sources shows an error when a selected search no longer exists, is empty or is a folder.
  • Opening a link to the AI Relevancy tab opens that tab instead of Case Overview.
  • Case processing no longer fails when encountering a specific issue in the AI-generated executive summary or document types.
