Release Notes - Nebula AI Case Explorer 1.7.0

New and improved

  • Agentic Chat can quickly answer direct questions over the entire project corpus.
    • Example, "who was the CEO?" you get a short answer supported by the documents it came from. Those documents go into a separate list, so the list you're working on stays unmodified.
  • Agentic Chat can answer questions about key people.
    • Example, whether someone is a key person or who they worked with. Small misspellings or name variations are detected and handled correctly.
  • Agentic Chat can find documents similar to one you already know is important. Just give it the Document ID.
  • Document lists created by Agentic Chat can be exported to CSV.
  • You can now rate Agentic Chat answers with a thumbs up or down and tell us what went wrong.
  • After a review finishes, you can ask Agentic Chat to summarize what it found.
  • Session timeouts are now in sync with Nebula. Extending your session or logging out in one tab applies to both.
  • On the Key People page, custodians who are also key people are marked with a Key Person tag.
  • Document lists, filters, and Key People load faster on large cases.
  • Documents column filter now filters on Document Names and Document ID.
  • Document lists have one background color instead of alternating stripes, and the row under your mouse is highlighted.
  • The AI Relevancy page shows loading placeholders instead of spinners.

Fixes

Agentic Chat

  • Agentic Chat handles long conversations more efficiently. Earlier messages are no longer processed again with every reply, and the chat length limit is now measured correctly, so conversations can go on longer before reaching it.
  • A copied chat that already reached the length limit now shows that right away instead of accepting one more message.
  • You can send a new message right after pressing Stop without getting an error.
  • A review you approved no longer starts again on your next message after it was stopped or failed.
  • A review that failed or was stopped while starting no longer shows as "in progress" forever.
  • Anyone who can view a chat can now pin it, not just the person who started it.
  • New chat answers and document lists show their timestamp right away instead of only after a page reload.
  • Agentic Chat document search works correctly after you restore an earlier project version or rerun the analysis.
  • Answers to approval questions in Agentic Chat are clearly visible on hover over.

General

  • The Project page no longer shows 0 key people when the case has key people.
  • The Document ID and File Name in the document metadata panel now match Nebula.
  • Projects with long names can be deleted again by Admins.
  • Closing Project Preview takes you back to the version you were previewing.
  • The Send to Nebula tooltip no longer stays on screen over the banner after you click it.
