Release Notes - 25.07.00

The Nebula 25.07.00 release contains the following enhancements:

  • Introduced AI-based PII/PHI Detection & Extraction to the Nebula NLP toolkit
    • The PII/PHI task can be set to auto-run at the time of processing or run manually on specific Collections at Import > Dashboard using the NLP Processing menu item.
    • The output is available in both Cull and Review and can be used to expedite Early Case Assessment (ECA) workflow.
    • Repository settings allow teams to focus only on relevant geographic regions and specified types of PII/PHI categories.
    • Documents with detected PII/PHI entities are easy to find via the search builder and facet explorer.
    • Extracted PII/PHI entities can be included in a document list, exported to a csv, and included in a production deliverable.
  • Introduced customizable password requirements for Firm Administrators. All Firms must adhere to the minimum Nebula system password requirements, but may optionally exceed it in several ways:
    • Password reusability blackout duration
    • Password strength configuration
      • Total length
      • Number of special characters
      • Number of numeric characters
      • Number of capital letters
      • Number of lowercase letters
    • Password expiration duration
  • Improved Workflow stage cards UI in the Workflow Admin page.
  • Improved performance for record deletions.
  • Added a visibility toggle for the password input when unzipping encrypted container files in the file browser.
  • Improved UI for the ‘Change Password’ dialog.
  • Improved UI for ‘Apply to’ toggles in coding forms, especially at narrow widths.
  • Updated Lists to enforce a maximum of 150 characters for ‘Name’ and 2,000 characters for ‘Description’.
  • Resolved an unexpected error in search builder when changing an operator before selecting a value in filters.
  • Resolved an issue with modifying a search from the document list, to yield a new result set with zero (0) hits, would result in an infinite loading animation on the subsequent document list.
  • Resolved an issue with exporting natives when no endorsement profile was selected.
  • Resolved an issue with exported text files for redacted documents.
